2000 ford ranger flashind o/d light/ hard shifting John 2-17-09  
Got my ranger stuck on ice, shifted from R to D a few times n got it out, didnt spin it like a maniac or anything; now o/d light flashes and shifts hard, also service engine lights on, shifted beautiful til this?? only 50k on truck, any ideas... pls email or reply johnswinamer@live.com, thanks

Scan it erase the codes it should work if code comes back the trand dected a slip try adjust the bands. drop the pan on the valve body the big fat round solonid is the pressure one there is a set screw in the end of it. use a torq socket and turn it one ful turn to the right. that turns the pressure up.if that still don't cure it the tranny has to come out. i rebuild in wilkes=barre at goodeal transmissions my ph. 5703325949
