Post New Message I have a 2001 ranger 2wd 3 liter 6cyl and have had the same problem with it slamming into second gear after the tac nears 4000 rpms. i have a dealer warranty on it so they put a rebuilt transmission in it and it still shifts hard. I'm completely lost on what to do next!
