I have a 1996 K2500 chevy 5.7 V8.The truck has sat for about 5 years.The tranny fluid was dark brown almost black.The owner told me he never had problems with the tranny.I did change the filter and fluid.It will not shift into 1st or 4th manually or automatically.It does not slip or make any noise at all.I have not had the chance to floor it yet due to no exhaust and a new motor.Should I try some flush product from a parts store or is it electronic.I was wondering if something was blocked with sludge.Is this thing toast? Please help! |
