Post New Message Well i see thats this overdive light flashing and banging into second gear is common. i can also relate! Usually the light flashes on colder days and the same with my tranny banging into second gear....almost like she delays at the top of the first gear then shifts hard into second. with 80,000kms on the ranger i had warrenty replace a govenor seal. But the problem with the light and shifting never went away. i'm probably just gone put a 302 in along with a nice beefy teansmission..lol.
