Re: GM 4106 engine and transmission refit by jim
Post New Message I have a 4905A, Ihave 16,000 miles on my fresh rebuild, I live in michigan and just came home from my vacation to the florida keys, about 3700 miles round trip,I put a propane injection unit from BullyDog,WOW, 1.8 to2.3mpg better milage and 80hp.more torque like you wouldn't believe,I averaged 7.8-8.7mpg not bad,and plenty of hill climbing power.I have an Allison auto with no modification oh yea. I also was pulling a s.u.v. I have an 8V71 2stroke, it doesn't go as good as a series 60, but the propane is progressive with boost so at idle no propane is used, it takes 1-3 seconds once you floor it to feel the propane come on strong,
