Neoplan AN440 Jeff 12-29-04
I'm the newly proud owner of a Neoplan AN440 transit bus with plans to convert it to an entertaining vehicle for tailgating. I believe it has a Detroit 6V92 engine. Any recommendations on good resources for learning more about the mechanical/electrical systems on this bus, maintanance requirements, and structural capabilities? I'd like to add a full 'observation' deck on the top if possible. Don't know a thing about these vehicles, but eager to learn. Don't have any manuals or have a clue where to look for parts! I'm in Houston - thanks!

The http://busforsaleguide.com site was a great help to me in finding the right bus to convert - it talks about the issues involved in bus conversions.
