I want to remove the rear door and rivet a plate in its place. What are the sensors neede to disable to operate the bus?

Any help would be appreciated.

Don't want to remove parts without knowing what's at stake.

What type exit door. mechanical push type or air. When the rear door is open a microswitch is activated that interlocks the rear brakes. That should be the only "sensor" you have to worry about.

I am thinking about buying an 81 grumman bus that was converted to a motorhome. It has a detroit deisel with an automatic. Since it was a city bus but with only 42,000mi on it, what is the gear ratio for crusing down the highway?
