Post New Message Congratulations on your new purchase. I agree with you about the gaudy lights and mirrors. I applaud your spirit on working for the fun of it. As for thr windows. clean the track out with a brush or compressed air, then spray with a little WD 40.
You can bring back the shine on the windows with a very fine polishing compound and a buffer.(start with a real bad window that you can practice on in case your choice of compound is bad) Finish up with "Novus" polishing compound avail be at glass shops made for plexiglass. The crazing will probably not come out. The Lexan windows can be replaced with auto safety glass. As for the fresh air, look to see if the windows are hinged on the top and have emergency handles to open them. You then have all the air you can use while you are stopped.
As for the girl friend, remember, anything that has tits or wheels will give you trouble.
