I have a chance to get a 1990 Gillig Phantom 6v92 detroit 40 footer.Do they make good converson?Do you know what I can expect in fuel milage?anyway to improve the milage.confused don't know wheather to buy Thanks Danny glorywagon@alltel.net

STAY AWAY FROM Gilligs from MN or ANY northern city.. most of the MN buses were listed as EXTENSIVE RUST damage in the original transit auth auction.. now they are being relisted on ebay... WATCH OUT !!!!

My father just bought a 1988 Gillig Phantom 35' with the 6v92 detroit. he got about 10 to 11 mpg on the way home from picking it up from Vegas.
