1985 Neoplan Rear end??? Jimmy 3-11-04
I am looking at buying a 1985 Neoplan transit bus with top speed of 57 MPH. Where would I go to search for a gear set to increase speed up to 65 or 70 MPH that will work in a Neoplan and what is a fair price to pay for one????

Not sure if it is a T Drive or V Drive.. Right now all I know is it has a 6V92 Detroit with a 3 speed Allison transmission and city gears in the rear end with top speed right now of approx 57 MPH.. Are most rear ends interchangable that I would find in a junk yard or will I specifically need gears from a Neoplan once I find out if it is T Drive or V Drive?

Check this web site
Randy has the parts to change
your rear axle, check first that
the Engine is not limited to 1800
as our is. The Gillig we drove home
from Randy's lot is set low easy to
turn up. Good Bussen Todd
