I'm looking for a mechanically sound Transit Bus to convert into an R/V.. Preferrably one that will travel at least 65mph.. Anyone have one, or have any ideas on where to find one besides Ebay??? I would rather travel to look at one with a set price as oposed to bidding on something that I don't know how high the bids will go or who will step in at the last 10 seconds to overbid me...
There have been dozens of Gilligs and New Flyers auctioned at www.nationwideauction.com
You will have to go to an auction, most are in california, but they usually hve at least 10 at any given auction.

Read your message. Have 1979 GMC RTS, with fairly new 8V 92 detroit desiel, good tires, 3/4 converted, must be finished to taste. Reason for selling bought bus already converted. Will sell for 2,500.00. You requested vehicle be able to do 65 mph, this one is governed at 60 mph, bus runs good, but as stated needs to be finiished. Currently residing in North Idaho. Hope to hear from you. Ronald.
