These busses go for sale on ebay...do a search for Gillig. I bought one of eBay and picked it up a few weeks ago. 1990 gillig with 6v92T DDEC (don't know wat version DDEC). 4 speed pushbutton alison, tops out at 60 mph. I want to change the rear end and up the horspower. Any suggestions about how i should go about doing this?

Jay- did you buy your bus from a guy in Minn? off ebay..b/c i did also... i was told that you can get a cheap rear end from any truck yard b/c it's a T-drive... i believe u have a 4:56 rear end and you need a 4:10 or 4:11 to get the speed you need.. call around to truck yards..but 1st go under the bus and get the rockwell numbers off the rear end hope this helps Marq
