Our church bus has an allison v731 transmission. After running for a while the transmission had a hard time shifting from nuteral into any gear. When cold it shifted fine. We drained the fluids and replaced the external filter. After refilling the fluids it would not shift into any gear.

It sounds like your oil pump might be getting weak. If you can get a gauge to hook up to the main pressure tap, it should be 150 - 175 psi at an idle.
