Can you get a 60' foot MAN articulating bus registered as a RV. I live in ILL. and would like to convert one of the coaches. The idea is to use the front for living quarters ant eh back as an enclosed trailer for my toys. Thanks

Can anyone send me pics via email of an articulated conversion inside and out. I have emailed Burt Reynolds numersous times to get pics, but to no avail. Guess ole Burt has plenty to do with his flourishing career and all. He is rumored to have two H5-60's as motorhomes. Thanks, Tony

YO..U CAN GET THEM REGISTERED HERE IN OR. WHY NOT LAND OF LINCOLN. IF YOU HAVE ONE YOU CAN OBTAIN MANY MANUALS AND PARTS FROM DEPT. OF PUBLIC TRANSPORTATION IN SEATTLE WA. THEY RUN SEVERAL HUNDRED OF THEM

Yes, it can be done in IL! Are you looking at CTA coaches? You have to remove 2/3 of the seats and install sleeping quarters, a bathroom, and a kitchen (at least two of the three) to make it official. Any further questions, feel free to email me,

YES,AT LEAST IN UTAH,.MY PROBLEM IS INSURANCE. PRIVATE WONT INSURE OVER 35'. COMERCIAL WONT INSURE PRIVATE! I HAVE RECEIVED ASSIGNED RISK FOR 300 DOLLARS A YEAR FROM THE STATE.LIABUILITY ONLY.PERHAPS SOMEONE COULD SUGGEST A FIX FOR ME.

However you will get pulled over in California, given a ticket, told not to move it until you have an oversized vehicle permit IFFFF the local DMV and Highway patrol are nice issued. Other wise they will tell you to have it towed back the way you came into the state. Very enlighted tree huggers here. I was looking at one too until I found out about the requirements. Additionally, they will require a Class "A" license.
