Looking to Buy RTS William 5-7-03
Interested in buying a bus for family trips and the like. I would like to learn as much as possible about this bus. How much to insure it as a private vehicle? What cost r associated with inspections and the like? What gearing should I look for for highest highway speeds? Can anyone help me or steer me in the right direction for info?
Re: Looking to Buy RTS Clay 5-12-03
Hi my name is clay and I own a
35' rts II bus. I tried Mercury,
Progressive and finally landed on
GMAC insurance (liability only)
for $300/yr. I think the concensus
for gearing at the group listed below
is 4.10 for 78mph which has been a
rather hot topic you should check it
out if you haven't already.
Hope this helps

Re: Looking to Buy RTS Dan 7-2-04
I just made a deal on a GMC RTS with a recently overhauled engine for $2600. Seems like an ok deal to me, even though this is my first bus. Really looking forward to the conversion, and would appreciate any postings with suggestions of where to get components for the conversion.

Thanks for the info can u tell me what start up cost were associated with the purchase of the bus i.e. inspections oil changes basic maintenance. What can I expect to pay yearly for leisure use of this vehicle?
