Re: Parts for 60's Flexible Bus Thomas 2-2-04
I am trying to find the apporximate value of a 1960 flexible bus in average condition. It will be converted to a motorhome at a later time. The 671 detroit motor is in very good condition and the body is in good condition except for a rusty spot around the lookout window over the drivers seat. Everything works fine. It may need a transmission overhall within the next two years since the syncronizers are wearing down. The 5 speed transmission works find except it is slow to shift due to the syncronizer problem. I just need to know an approximate value before conversion start to show the gain in value after the conversion is complete. It will then be used to take a group of singers to and from concerts. Any input into how to determine its current value will be helpful. Even if I can compare it to like buses it will help.
Thank you for your assistance.
Thomas.
