I would like to convert my std. trans to auto. and a friend said a 740 wont fit with an 8v71 is this correct? and what will fit? my coach is an mci 5b with an 8v71 thx.

Dave, I don't know if the same or not but I have a 66-MCI-5A and the only auto. that will fit in mine is a 644 or 645, not sure of number. It is my understanding this is the only one short enough to go in.Talk to Arizona trans. 520-295-1392 and they can tell you what will work. Ben
