How is the Orion 2 for freeway? Would it be able to handle freeway speeds for extended(All day) periods of time?

Thanks in advance!

Justin

Well those diesels are goverened so you can just put a brick on the pedal and go all day. They won't over run.

What kind of speeds can I expect?

What is/are the axle ratio(s) of yours?

Justin
Re: Orion 2 Jim Ames 2-14-03
I will know more when I take delivery of them next weekend. The head mechanic at Stevens Point, WI where these are coming from said they will do 65mph+.WES Transport will be hauling these to northern Indiana next week. Then I can start the fun of inventoring 12 pallets of parts and starting on the one that will be my fishing camper. I will know more in a couple weeks.

Thanks,
Jim Ames

How did you bus turn out? I ran across your old tread on the rv-coach web site.

I have been looking for a bus for tailgating. I like the look of these buses over the old school bus route.

Just curious how yours turned out. Any ideas on what to expect for prices on these? I found one on ebay, but that's about it.

Thanks,
Pete
