I have a 88 GMC RTS Model T802, the bus has been parked for a few months but recently the "DO Not Shift" light started blinking on the shifter when I started the bus, about the same time I noticed that My Voltage regulator Crapped out, I am wondering if there is a way to reset the computer or not? I was told there is not and that I need to find the problem (if there is one) or replace the computer, I have ordered a new Voltage regulator this week in hope that this is what is causing the Transmission problems but it seems unlikly to me? Any Ideas or anyone else run into this problem? Thanks in advance for any help.

If you have a ATEC/DDED controls, they will not operate properly if you do not have the proper voltage.
On a 24-volt system, without at least 24-volts, the system will go into reset mode. If you turn the power off and repower with at least 24-volts your system should automatically reset itself.
If it doesn't, you have more problems. About the only way to find out what is going on for sure is to hook up to your local Allison dealer's computer.
Incorrect supply of voltage to the ECU activated the auto-protection of your transmission.
If no shortage or problem in the wirings, replacing your voltage reg. should solve your problem.

I have 97 M/H pushed by a cat with a 3060 Allison and it leaks trans oil when it is parked not running, most of the time when I get ready to make a trip I have to put 2 qt. of oil in befor it moves. The leak is on the side of the valve body, it looks like some kind of persure dump, the oil just leaks out slow, after a while it stops. Anyone know anything about this,
I do all the maint. on my rig but this has got me stumped.
