1978 GMC RTS 8V71 Detroit Allison AT 730 trans; 70,000 miles and only 134,000 miles total on coach! Motor has no leaks and runs great. 96" wide, 40 feet long. Air ride, air brakes, air level, air throttle, power steering, R & M front and rear caps, R & M fender flares, one piece door. Coach is painted white. Custom built bays with welded floors and doors installed. Back door and four center windows removed and have been reskinned. All exterior lighting is LED. 101 gallon fresh water tank installed, black and grey tanks in place, 57 gallons each. Stock AC and rear steps have been removed. Entire bus has been spray foam insulated by Seattle Harbor Foam.
Bus interior is modeled after a boat interior, a very rich look. All flooring installed is Teak and Holley with a high gloss urethane finish (stunning!). Tongue and groove ceiling throughout. Aft stateroom with queen bed platform built with teak cabinet and surround, LED ceiling lights, rear closet lined with cedar. Shower enclosure built, separate toilet and sink in side bathroom with teak vanity and cabinet, porcelain toilet, sink with gold fixtures. Side bunk trimmed with teak features a custom porthole, room for washer/dryer below. Walls are skinned with teak. Some plumbing and wiring installed.
This bus is 70% complete. I've done all the hard work, this bus will be very easy to finish. I own a boat yard and all materials used are marine grade. This bus is from Washington State, in excellent condition. It's easy to drive and highly maneuverable. This model has a stainless steel frame with fiberglass skin.
