35' RTS questions Joseph 2-16-02
I have two questions. First, does anyone know the dimensions of the 35' RTS II (say a 1982 model)? I assume the width is 96 inches, but I'm looking for the head room and seating capacity. Second question is regarding a series 50 Detroit. Is this a good engine. I've only previously heard of the 6 and 8V's and the series 60.

Thanks guys, your always very helpful.
Re: 35' RTS questions D. Farnworth 2-16-02
The width on a lot of the RTS's was 102", and I believe the ceiling was 6'3".
As to the series 50, it is a lighter engine than the 60, as it is a 4 cylinder model of the 12.7L series 60.
It uses many of the same parts as the 60 series, but being a 4 cylinder, in my opinion, is not the way to go. This engine was built in both the 1800RPM and 2100RPM model, both of which did very well on economy.

Whatwould you like to know abot the 6V/8V series Engines They are easier to run and Maintain than either the 50 or 60 series computerized engines.
