I am looking for manuals, 24V regulator , knowledge about conversion from city to highway gearing and anyone who is currently converting or has converted to RV use.

What kind of Coach and other information would be appreciated. It's hard to figure out what you need from the little you wrote. The coach's manufacturer was there.. in the main title M.A.N. SL 40102L and it sounded like he explained exacty what he needed to me... geez.. kinda abrasive.. I am looking for manuals, 24V regulator , knowledge about conversion from city to highway gearing and anyone who is currently converting or has converted to RV use.

My unit is a 1986 MAN(German) Bus with a MAN 6 cylinder turbo diesel and a 3 speed Renk (German) electricronic shift control transmission and a MAN differential with gear reduction in the rear hubs. The alternator and regulator are Delco. The Regulator is a Model # 1118437 Seriasl # D82 What kind of Coach and other information would be appreciated. It's hard to figure out what you need from the little you wrote. I am looking for manuals, 24V regulator , knowledge about conversion from city to highway gearing and anyone who is currently converting or has converted to RV use.

Sorry, I didn't mean to offend or sound abrasive. Not all MAN buses used the standard MAN engine/transmission/differential setup. Also, not all MAN buses used the Delco Remy or Leece Neville alternator/charging setup. I have a link somewhere on this infernal machine that goes to a site that dealt with MAN using Bosch 24v 3 wire electrical wiring. However, I haven't had my second cup of coffee yet, so I'll look for it after bit.

We have that regulator on our GMC bus. The regulator is 24V and is on an oil cooled 350Amp gear driven alternator on a Detroit 8V-71
