Transmission problem 731 allison	Chris	3-12-02
I have a RTS II I pushed reverse on push button control, and it hesitated to go in reverse, then when it did the power wasnt there, it just moved a little, then i put a little more on the pedal and it finally went. I think it did the same thing going foward one time, so I pulled off to the side and waited till it would kick back in. could it be something little, like a bad filter or old tans fluid, I am new to this, I sure could use someones help here.

First thing is to check the level. If you have the manual, read the proceedure for checking level. Probably, it shoud be warm and level. I have a 1994 Nissan Sentra, automatic transmission, when I'm driving is allright except when the car is swtching gear from 1st to 2nd gear, the tire skids, when switching to other gears the car runs normal and smoothly.What can be causing the problem? I've heard it may be the filter may be dirty. Can you please help with a possible anser. Thanks. Jose
