1980 Rockwood pop up Wayne 9-3-07
I have recently acquired a pop up from some people who were renting my
house and they abandoned it. I have a cranker handle with a square end
and at the cranking mechanism on the front of the pop up I have a bolt
with two stage threads, I hope you understand this explanation. I feel
that some kind of square nut should go on there I have one from my shed
that will fit the bigger threads in the back and I feel I can get it
cranked up but I'm still not sure. can you tell me what is the threaded
nut I am missing and where to purchase one, or if there is another way.
I thought about drilling out the cranking bolt and insert a pin and
slot out the handle so that I can crank it up. But I would like to repair
it correctly. Can you help.
