Warning to wood be Fun Finder owners. I bought a 2005 T160 Fun Finder in October of 2005. I brought it home from the dealer and the front checker plate had separated from the body. At that point I had only owned it for one hour. By the end of 2006 (May to September) I had used the trailer for about 14 days. I sent the trailer back to the dealer to make repairs prior to me using it again in the 2007 camping season. Repairs that needed to be done: The axel needed to be replaced. (Warranty). The tires had to be replaced (worn out because of the axel being out of whack.) I had to pay for them. Replaced the front aluminium checker plate twice. (Warranty). I finally replaced the checker with a black rubber cover. (I paid for) The body came apart from the frame. (Warranty) But, came apart again on our first trip out in 2007. The front body of the trailer separated from the floor (reviling a 2" space) I paid for the repairs as the dealer couldn't get to it for two months. (Cost me $975.00 at a local auto body shop) The counter top laminate separated. The counter had to be replaced. (Warranty) The shower wall seams separated. (I repaired, white silicon) Various trim on the inside of the trailer kept coming off. I reattached. The deep cycle batter provided with the trailer would hold a charge for about 1 day. (Dealer wouldn't replace it) I finally replaced it with one from Costco. The shocks for the cupboard doors, one by one broke. I replace with metal ones at my expense. The water tank was not secured down and had to be. Again at my expense. I had a problem with the dealer (Leisure RV) getting them to do repairs as they no longer carry the Fun Finder line. The new dealer in my area refused to do any warranty repairs for trailers sold by Leisure. Fun Finder co. them selves wouldn't cover any expenses I put out or allow me to take it some ware else for warranty service. The 2 year warranty, basically worthless. I would definitely not recommend the line of trailers.
Mike...Wow....what a disaster!! We were considering a new Fun Finder but your experience is most likely not an isolated one. Over the years we have owned numerous RV products and if one individual is having a bad experience....chances are there are many others like yourself! Best regards
