I saw your ad on a web search for info on dutch craft travel trailers. I am in the process of restotind a 1972 25' dutch craft travel trailer. The mfgr. is Farenwald Enterprises from Lancaster,PA
I'm having some trouble locating various parts.
Thought I'd drop you a line and try to get some feedback from you.

Hi..Are you still working on your Dutch Craft? I'm restoring a 1979 !9' Dutch Craft with tandem wheels. The biggest job I've got is replacing the floor but it's not that bad. I repaired the wheel skirts with fiberglass and repainted the spots on the outside. I'm gently working on the electrical as it's been played with a bit but it's doable. Going to repaint the interior. Biggest job is adding a generator in the right spot for the A/C. Everything works on mine luckeyly. What parts are you looking for. The things that I'm replacing are the generec ones.

We have restored a 1976 Dutch Craft also manufactured in Lancaster. We only had to replace a few parts, i.e. the burner for the water heater, bypass the holding tank because it leaked. We are although having trouble with the wiring. Hooked up to go camping last weekend and the running lights, etc. worked. Hooked up on Monday to come home and nothing worked. Any ideas. The boggling part is that the ground wire appears to be white and the hot wire appears to be black. Would appreciate any input you may have. Also, we went to a local RV Store (Family Camping Center, Stowe, Pa) and they told us that Dutch Craft went out of business in the 80's but there was apparently a trust fund for repairs, unfortunately it ran out about 5 years ago. Any input you have would be greatly appreciated.
Hi,
I have a 1976 dutchcraft 26' sheerwood, my brother has 4. I would like to know if any one has any information or history of the company.
My brother and I have a few brochures, but thats about it.
Maybe we could start a club for dutch craft owners. I also have a 1974 27' holiday rambler. both trailers are in good shape. My brother restored the outside wood grain on his and is going to do mine and it looks beautiful.
The dutch craft isn't as nice as the holiday, but its still a great rig.
