1983 Starcraft Galaxy Lift System Repair	Lisa	4-24-07
Both lift cables on the backside of our trailer recently broke when it was in its raised position, so now we have a lopsided trailer that we cannot even close in order to bring to a repair shop. The front side is up and the broken back side is almost all the way down -- we can't figure it out. Anyone have any experience with getting the lift system fixed? Self-fix? Approx costs? We're really stuck! Any help/advice would be really appreciated!

I recently accuired a 1986 starcraft pop-up.I am looking for a diagram or layout of the lift system.

Http://www.rvworkshop.com/Starcraft_1985___Newer.pdf here is the lift system manual. i bought all the parts (70' of wire rope 1\8" cable and ferrule\stops for $18. at home depot). i called Starcraft rv at 800-945-4787 and asked for the cable lengths.i am 70% complete. the job is not hard at all. i read the manual over and over until it burned in my mind. I hope this helps.

I have 1983 starcraft pop up and i have tow brand new cables that are broken anyone have the repair manual or diagram for the mechanism?
