I have purchased an Apache hard side. But restoring it may be too much. Maybe I would be better off with one of the small fiberglass trailers in better condition. Are there any in the classifieds?
Good Day, Michael Here,
We have recently purchased a 1982 Sunline Sunspot, sort of a squared teardrop. We were just on the "maiden voyage" this past week. We had gusty winds and heavy rain but we were warm and dry.
What I am looking for is an owner's manual, or any information that is available even copies or something I can download. The previous owner did some rewiring, so there's no 12v service; and it's difficult trying to figure out the propane part of the three way refrigerator. Otherwise we're elated and are have great ideas on refurbishing.
Thanks, Michael
I am looking for any information on the discontinued " AWARD " trailers by ABI Leisure products in Ontario Canada.
They seem to have some Unique features and I wonder if searching for a nice one is a worthwhile persuit (sp?)
Thanks Joe
I have a 1982 Sunspot, which I bought from my friends about 10 years ago. I've had a lot of frustration over the wiring over the years so when I bought my last car I had a trailer hitch installed and brought the trailer to them to get it right once and for all. I have a booklet on the refrigerator, Hometic (sp) brand. I can check for other info you might want. Meanwhile, have you found this site? http://www.sunlineclub.com/docs/78sun2.pdf
