Would like to know if anyone has any experience with Award trailers. Do they stand up well? Any problems with the frame, etc?They seem to be a very towable trailer but would like to know about their durability, as they are a lightweight trailer. Thanks in advance for any replies.

I own a new 2006 Award 27 foot classic tows exceptional well. I cannot express how well it handles on highway speeds and high winds do take it off track. I do have the weight distribution and stabilizer hitch system by "Reese" This is built on the steel frame which is a little heavier, the extra tounge weight contributes to better sway control. Very well built interior, 12 volt wiring is well laid out. Plumbing easy to use easy to winterize. Purchased from manufacturing facility in Dunnville Ontario, Canada

My experience with Award trailers are that they are easy to tow but some of the earler models were bad to leak around the windows. still very nice trailers with excellent detail to interior appearance.

I own a 1992 AWARD Classic 23 which I have had for eight years. I took a two year sabbatical from work and toured North America in it with my girl friend. We visited all 49 States you can drive to and most of Canada. (Haven't been to Labrador yet!) We covered nearly 50,000 miles on that trip alone. You will not find a trailer that tows easier. They are well, but lightly constructed. The frame wood is prone to rot if water is allowed to intrude to the interior. (Sandwiched between fiberglass and vinyl wall coverings, probably any wood, would be.) I have made several fairly extensive repairs to mine over the years, all due to minor leaks. Leading me to believe there is no such thing as a minor leak! Follow their directions as far as replacing the silicone sealant periodically is concerned and you should be fine. Attend to any leak immediately! I reccommend them to anybody that asks and would buy another ((if I could afford it!) They are great folks to deal with. We were able to attend the 2003 owners rally as part of our travels. If buying a used one, survey it VERY carefully! Probe the underside and check the walls for soft spots. I have never experienced any probems with the roof. Feel free to email me if you have any specific questions. Happy Travels... Roger
