I would like some info on Franklin travel trailers. I am looking at a 36 ft with 2 slide outs with washer/dryer - its a 2002 for 15K. I want some info on the quality and who makes them? Anyone know any of this info??? I can't find it on web.

THERE MADE BUY AMISH IN NAPANEE INDIANNA THEY HAVE BEEN AROUND SINCE 1945 IN James Bond movie with Sean Connery you see one in the 1960's in background theyb are a family owned factory........there are dealers in southeren florida and in tampa..they are good trailers for the money,

You can check the value out in the nada book. I dont know where you are but I checked the value on mine and it is a 40 ft franklin w/d dish washer ceiling fans 2bdr top of line travel trailer. List price 28,795 low price not in excel. cond. 19,095 Average price 23,054. If this gives you a idea. Franklins are the nicest. I plan on selling mine for 18,000 in Jan. If it is half as nice as mine 15000 is a very good price. You can also go to the bank and they can give you a idea. Happy Camping

I just purchased a 1943 Franklin Trailer. She is 18 ft long and was/will be again a beauty. I want to reach the arcives of Franklin Trailers for information... We are a group of women who fly fish and caravan around the country...Sisters on the fly...

I sold tons of franklins travel trailer they sold therselves by the way they was designed; big bath ares big living room ;tons of packing space; an storage; an they were different from the mom an pop an kiddies rv. w/d wooden floors gelcoat fiberglass a dealer would pocket 15.000 on that trailer. franklin sold them for 15.000 out the door to any body!!!! loaded/greedy dealers couldnt compete.with franklin coachs product..for yrs. now the dealers are closing due to the lack of business an no loans shame shame

Franklin coach was a good trailer for the money well built curb stone dealers would purchase them an sell them 9.000 under the local rv dealers an that made a lot of folks the dealers couldnt compete with the curbstone dealers they were made for comfort an thats what sold them not foolish bunks an a waste of space in an travel trailer but the factory was destroyed by a tornado in 05. steve able closed hes doors after 66yrs.. good trailer for the money..

I own a 2002 40ft with 3 slides washer&dryer dishwasher computer center and lots more i love my trailer but i don't trust it going down the road it's built cheap and i'm always having problems with the trim coming off it's a good trailer for the full timer if you don't plan on moving it around much

My husband and I just purchased a 1996 Franklin, Model 426. Does it have a holding tank? I need an answer as soon as possible as we are disputing a large property tax increase on the property the trailer is on. Please? Thank you!

Are Franklin trailers still manufactured? We had a 1973 or 74 that is still in use in VT. She was a beauty and our whole family has many fond memories of year round camping in her. I don't see any sites for them now. Are they possibly made under a different name? Thank you.

We own a 1981 Fran travel trailer which is permanently parked right now. I can not find any info on this company at all. Did Franklin Coach take over this company or change its name to Franklin? I have seen the interior to a Franklin Travel Trailer and they are very similar to ours. Just curious about who made ours.

I have a 1965 18 foot Franklin Travel Trailer. Have been in contact with people at Franklin and they are going to re-open in the not so distant future.

We just bought a Franklin Fifth wheel, and need to know how to contact Franklin, the model # is corroded. So we can't even see what it is! 43 foot, 2 slides, stripes on sides, just need to ID this and see about a manual, to we are with you, Tony! Someone let us know something. PLEASE!

Since this thread is all about how to contact Franklin, can one of you guys who owns a Franklin PLEASE answer the original question and post some kind of address, phone number or other contact data? We had an 06 franklin 36 feet long. Unfortunately we lost it in a recent flood. I simply loved that camper and would love to find another one like it. I have a lot of the paper work that came with it, manuals and stuff if anyone can use them. If you know of a Franklin travel trailer for sale near Grayson ky please let me know.
