Cannot get the wheel off my Bonair 1050 :-( Paul Canning 7-20-03
I have a bonair 1050 and the sides of it are solid around the wheels, i.e. theres no cutout shape so the top half of the wheel is not visible.

Now this is new to me and i have just tried to take off a wheel to service the brakes and cannot get it off :-(

I can get it off the hub but when i try to slip it out under the chassis theres not enough room:-(

How do you do it??

I could deflate the tyre first but there has surely got to be a way?

I am using a trolley jack on the metal frame allowing the suspension and hence the wheel to drop down.

You may have to undo the spring shackle bolts and allow the axle to drop further. BEFORE you do this mark with a felt or paint pen the position everything is now in so you can put it back together straight.
