Wireing Help with a 1970 Open Road Tyler 7-10-03
I am trying to figure out how to wire my 7pin plug. I can not figure out which wires are what. I have tried several combos but none have worked so far. I can get the running lights to work until I hit the breaks then they shut off. I can get the turn siginals to work but when they flash all the clearnce lights flash. any help would be great.
Re: Wireing Help with a 1970 Open Road GEAR HEAD 8-9-03
TAKE A 12 VOLT TEST LIGHT AND CHECK EACH WIRE WITH ONE CIRCUIT ON IE. BRAKE LIGHTS, TURN SIGNAL AND CLEARANCE LIGHTS. IF YOUR TOWED VEHICLE HAS AMBER TURN SIGNALS, IT WILL TAKE A CONVERTER BOX TO WIRE UP TO YOUR OLD COACH. THE TURN SIGNALS AND BRAKE LIGHTS ARE ON THE SAME CIRCUIT ON OLDER VEHICLES.
