|Leveling 5th wheel trailer||Larry||4-4-03|
|What's the best way to level the|
trailer when it's hooked up to the
pick-up. The trailer needs to come
up about 3" to be level.

|The first thing to level is your truck. If your truck bed is not level with the loaded trailer attached to the fifth wheel hitch then you need to install an air lift system to bring the truck up to a level position. Once your truck is level, then you can adjust the fifth wheel hitch in your truck bed to raise the front of the trailer. If that is already at maximum height, then check the tow pin mounting assembly on the trailer to see if there are vacant bolt holes to allow you to lower the pin height, thusly raising the nose of the trailer.|

|I just bought a 2007 dodge 2500 4x4 but my 5th wheel trailer does not sit level. What do I need to do to level it out the trailer out. Do I need to flip the axels so that the trailer sits higher, and is there any intructions online to tell me what needs to be done to complete it.|
