Hi Shawn,
I have a 97 F150 ext cab SB, 4.6 auto and pull a Wilderness 22' fifth wheel,
trailer max GVWR is 2555 KG, 5621 LBS.

OK on the flats but not enough power travelling in the hills or mountains and the fuel MPG is poor.

I suggest going to F250 a 5.4 engine,
more power, better fuel MPG and will carry more load and thats my plan too.

It also depends upon the GVWR of your trailer and the truck and must be within legal load limits.
Do a LOT of research before making your decision!!
