|Hi Gerry, a generic answer to a generic question.... (no model #, if it's both on gas and electric) your cooling unit could be slowly dying, or this could be caused by rust in the flue (chimney) which is cleaned out with a large bottle brush or home fridge condenser brush. With the fridge shut down of course. Make sure you remove and reinstall the long baffle inside clipped at the top Then remove and clean the burner under the flue with compressed air, and make sure you have a nice clean blue flame afterwards. Also make sure there are no nests or obstructions in the vent on/in the roof, air circulation behind the fridge is important. If it is hot where you are the fridge is working hard to keep up. Shade the lower vent access panel without restricting airflow. You can also put a vent fan in the back of the fridge to help airflow, they are available at RV stores. There are other reasons, but it depends on the model. This should give you something to start with tho'. Good luck|
