Post New Message This was the era when manufacturers were changing from pressure tank to water pump systems.

I think you have or had one of these.

A pressure tank system had a galvinized steel water tank. The water pressure was provided one of two ways. A small air compressor that pressurized the water tank and the rest of the system. The water fill for the tank had a conection for a hose on the bottom. This is where your city water hooked and provided pressure.

If you have this system Take the pressure tank and sell it for scrap. It was unsafe when built. The lead in the Galvinization.

Buy a cheap tank, fill and city water conection.
