2012 Ford Expedition Limited towing 2013 PrimeTime Tracer by Mark
Post New Message In August 2012 we purchased a new 2012 Ford Expedition Limited with the Heavy Duty Tow Package to tow a new 2013 Prime Time Tracer 3150bhd. We spent a couple of weekends learing more about towing it as well as local weekend get-aways. The furthest I towed it was about a 2.5 hour drive in September. That's when I learned more about the swaying that occurs when driving on expressways going 55 mph.

We're looking to make the trip to Orlando from Detroit in the next couple of months (end of March/early April). We figure it will take us about 2.5 days to get there traveling down I75 going through the hills of Kentucky and Tennessee.

I'm looking for any, and all, advice from the veterans who have made trips like this. Going through the hills and dealing with the sway.

Thanks
Mark
