Post New Message It is known as a converter.
It is likely that the converter has a bad charge board and the batteries are dead or the relay for changeover is damaged or worn out.
Basicly: with unit unplugged check battery voltage if over 12 and no interior lights, find converter and check for 12 volt power there. If there is 12 volt to the converter but not beyond, converter change over relay bad. Replace converter with modern equivelant.
If no 12 volt to converter find blown or failed breaker or fuse in wiring between battery and converter.
