|Casette potty in pop up||Leesuu||7-15-09|
I am trying to convince my husband to purchase a Fleetwood Westlake with a bathroom we are concerned that the black water holding tank at 5 gallons will be too small. Can you dump this tank with out taking the camper to the dump station? I was looking into the portable tanks with wheels and hose attached but I'm not sure it can be connected to the camper. Does anyone have any experience with this? Thanks.

|My Monomatic has about 8 gallon capacity, but begins with a 4 gallon charge, so really only catches another 4 gallons to fill it, takes about 3-4 days for 2 of us. The unit is installed, so I connect a flex drain to the trailer, dump the potty into a 15 gallon wheeled black water bottle and wheel it to the nearest dump station (hopefully not too far away). I now have a good system for dumping that bottle into the trailer dump, had a couple of sad experiences trying to dump it into an outhouse pit toilet years ago. --don't ask.|
