Casette potty in pop up Leesuu 7-15-09
Hello,
I am trying to convince my husband to purchase a Fleetwood Westlake with a bathroom we are concerned that the black water holding tank at 5 gallons will be too small. Can you dump this tank with out taking the camper to the dump station? I was looking into the portable tanks with wheels and hose attached but I'm not sure it can be connected to the camper. Does anyone have any experience with this? Thanks.

My Monomatic has about 8 gallon capacity, but begins with a 4 gallon charge, so really only catches another 4 gallons to fill it, takes about 3-4 days for 2 of us. The unit is installed, so I connect a flex drain to the trailer, dump the potty into a 15 gallon wheeled black water bottle and wheel it to the nearest dump station (hopefully not too far away). I now have a good system for dumping that bottle into the trailer dump, had a couple of sad experiences trying to dump it into an outhouse pit toilet years ago. --don't ask.
