I am located in Corvallis, Oregon and have a 2004 Scamp 5th Wheel (19’ Standard) with the side bath. It sleeps 6, but we have had some special cushions made up to allow the loft bed/top bunk to combine into a California King-sized Bed (sleeps 5 in this configuration but easily converts back to 6). This works better for me as I am 6’ 2” tall and we have three kids (5 total people).
It is in good condition, but shows normal, slight wear inside (small spots on carpet that would clean up easily, etc.). I have replaced many of the rivets with the better stainless steel bolts and new caps. There are no leaks. The battery is new and everything works. There is no awning, but we prefer the 10’ x 10’ portable awning anyway, as it can be moved over the picnic table or to either side as needed. It has A/C and all the normal stuff. Some of these campers had a problem with the axels getting cracks, but this one has been reinforced as recommended by the factory, at the factory’s expense. The tires are in good shape and the brakes are adjusted.
It will be available after August 21st, after our last camping trip this summer. We love it but I need to pay off my student loans!
2004 Scamp 5th Wheel $11,500
2003 Toyota Tundra Access Cab, 4x2, V-6, SR-5… Books for $10,500
Both the truck and camper together for $19,000.
We have been looking for a standard scamp 5th wheel to pull behind our V6 Tundra. Yours sounds great. We are in Lake Tahoe. Is your scamp still for sale?
Please email picture if possible.
We are just heading out for our last camping trip this week. There is another family in Tahoe that has first dibs on the Scamp, and I'll let you know next week if they decide not to buy it.
