|2003 kodiak skamper 21' hybrid tent ends||Bill||3-6-09|
|I am looking for advice on how to fix or where I can get the plastic bead that attaches the hybrid tent ends to the camper. The ends in the top corners, the plastic track has broke and pulled away from the camper, and I am trying to find the plastic track so I can fix it.|

|I have the same camper and the same problem. I have not fixed it yet but have done some research. The RV dealership Gustine’s is located in East Hampton CT, 71 Mott Hill Road, East Hampton, CT 06424 TOLL FREE 1-888-470-2267|
Local Phone 860-267-5364 Fax 860-267-5312,
They could order them for you or they could last year when I checked. As you no the plastic clips are sown in. The replacement is the complete tent end including the canvas and plastic rail already assembled ready for installation. Don’t quote me but it was around $280.00 per side. Good luck, Let me know how it comes out if you do it. I may attempt it myself.

|We had the same problem 4 years ago. We ordered the plastic piece, called "J-Lock" directly from Dutchman (we got the number from our dealership). |
We then removed the canvas from the camper, by removing the screws from the metal plate surrounding the inside and pulling the J-Lock from the camper.
We then took it to a local company that sews boat canvases. They undid the stitching, removed the old plastic and sewed in the new one. (Be sure to mark the ends the canvas came from.)
The hard part was installing the J-Lock back into the camper, but it works like Tupper Wear, so be persistent and you'll get it. I hope that helps.
