Hello I had bought a refidg. door latch to the dometic rm2807 (cost plenty) anyway I can not for the life of me figure out how to get the original off. Any advice would be greatly appreciated. Thank You Paul S.

Hi Paul, Not sure if this will help or not. Our 1993 27' Award has a Dometic RM 2604 fridge. A few mths ago I took it apart. I found the door latch has a clip on cover. Under this cover there are 2 screws that hold the latch on.But, be careful taking the cover off. I would suggest taking your model # to an RV dealer. Their parts manual may have an exploded diagram of the latch. Good Luck Wayne W.
