I would like to know if Flagstaff trailers are a quality brand. I am considering buying a brand new 2000 Flagstaff from a dealer in Sudbury, Ontario. It is 21' 2' long when open and for the price they are asking it is a good deal. Any info, experiences and opinions welcome. and if any dealers follow this message board could they please e-mail me with information and THEIR return address?? Thanks Alot!
I would be very careful buying Flaggstaff from Foucault Trailer sales. My good friend bought a Flagstaff there a month or two ago. The price was good, but the service is terrible. They didn't even install the canopy telling him we don't do that. They only spent 10 minutes telling him about it and showing him how to use it. Also, there were several things wrong with it and he had to bring it back; probably so they can charge it under warranty. The trailer itself is okay, I myself have a Viking and I prefer it; but it is more expensive. Check to see if the Flaggstaff has a spot for a porti potti; my freind's doesn't.
Also, My father-in-law just purchased a Prowler 5th wheel from there and he is furious with them. They gave it to him dirty and with many things wrong with it. But they charged PDI!!! and obviously didn't do it. Then they made him wait all day to fix the stuff and he was from Espanola! They also told him once it leaves the lot its not their problem? This was a new 5th wheel. When they finally gave in and grudginly fixed the stuff (like a badly damaged drain that leaked both grey & black water) they made him sign a blank warranty invoice so they could bill Prowler when that stuff should have been done under the PDI
