I an concidering converting a schoolbus to take camping do most campgrounds let you camp there .thanks Larry
We have found that campgrounds will let you in, but you are watched much more closely than if you are driving a big dollar motorhome. Also they watch out for wild paint and flowers. I think the Partridge family really hurt the schoolie people. Rick
:There are many private camp grounds that will NOT let you in . You can thank the "Its My Right TO SHIT in Your Soop " hippies of" Amerika"{ their spelling} from decades ago that close the door forever. Park owners dont want TROUBBLE ,, and will not take a chance for a couple of bucks.
IF your budget is so low that a Skoolie is all you can afford get a flat nosed,, not a dog nosed and spend the bucks to put in RV windows and a good { not brush or flower power}paint job and try to look like Bluebird Wanderlodge. If making reservations allways tell them you have a Blue Bird or Wanderlodge over phone.Even if its a dognose ,,play dumb,, I thought all conversions were Wanderlodges,, might get you in that night.
