Re: In search for a schoolbus by Patrick Young
Post New Message Hi guys

I am looking for a schoolbus to convert and explore the americas. Please email me if you have a schoolbus diesel for sale.
i have a 1982 international thomas S-1800 conventional 5speed with a diesel engine for sale for $1,000.00 it needs a new clutch and battery else its a terific bus
its in Winona Minnesota if your interested please e-mail me at tadewa00@wshs.luminet.net

Hey Jakob

I have a couple Gillig transit buses, both diesel powered and in good condition,of which I would be willing to part with one. they are a better, heavier bus than the International bus the other fellow has. BUT, his bus is also a good one, if it hasn't been abused, and if you go for his you should be able to have a shop do the clutch for about $600. Before you buy from ANYONE, ask lots of questions. Big vehicles, especially diesels are strong and reliable, but when they break they can be farily expensive to fix.
Let me know. I have a couple of buses, some bus parts, and a lot of bus knowledge and enthusiasm. i love buses, I just wish my wife did!!!

You can also call me when it gets time to make a final decision. If it's your dime, you can askj me all the questions you like. I've been a mechanic (amateur) since about 1969, and have owned, and disassembled a few buses in my time. I'm in Fresno at (559) 251-3814

Peace to you and yours
