Post New Message Do make sure that all the mfg are quoting the 20 HR rate so your comparing apples and apples.
If you can find out the weight, it can help your choice , buying a batt is mostly buying lead.

Finally you could compare cost per amp,, but remember if you want a decade instead of a year , only discharge half down. I would buy and use a power meter , west marine products catalog explains well ,, buy what you want ,,$150 or so best method of NOT ruining batt bank.

PO Folk can yse marine "low voltage alarm" works OK if no huge inverter loads and you det calibration with digital V meter and LIVE by what it tells,,, RECHARGE NOW,, when it goes off.
