Anyone out there have any ideas on how to wire up a motor home safely. This will be my first one to build. Any tips would be helpful and thanks

As an electrician myself, I would suggest making a list of the components you want in your motor home. Then just find any old local electrician.
DC wiring is very simple and almost fun for a pro.
But for a novice.....it could prove to be difficult as well as a fire hazard. In fact don’t be afraid to ask your electrician for suggestions. You may find he has a number of good ideas for you such as roof top solar trickle charging. Good luck, have fun and send us pictures when your done.

Winnebago's site has a number of wiring diagrams posted. They're a great example to use as a starting point and include most typical electrical components. The URL is

Hope that helps!
