Soon I plan to purchase a bus and make the long drive back to my home. With all the seats in it will I need commercial insurance? Any tips for making my first long trip in the bus will be appreciated.

Soon I plan to purchase a bus and make the long drive back to my home. With all the seats in it will I need commercial insurance? Any tips for making my first long trip in the bus will be appreciated. If the bus is still a bus, you will need to have a CDL with a passenger endorsement in order to drive the bus legally. If the bus has air brakes you will need to have the air brake restriction removed from your license as well. You need to speak to your insurance agent to know for sure about insurance but the odds are you will need commercial insurance. As far as driving the bus, where will you be driving? Recommendations sort of depend upon where you will be driving. Good luck and happy trails. Mark O.
