I have recently purchased a 1978 Ward/GMC school bus. It happens to have a Marmon-Herrington 4x4 conversion (factory) on it, with military 9.00 x 20 tires and rims. Tough bus. But I have no documentation on it. Does anybody know where I can get any manuals or where I can buy/find parts for it? Thanks in advance.
Dont know where to find Da Book , as so few were made. You can figure out most everything by steam cleaning the underside and looking for info plates. There are usually Nomenclature tags on front axle, and rear axles , tags in the tranny and somone should be able to figure out what engine it has.
If you contact the rebuilders of this stuff, usually they can supply some paperwork and service tips.
You wont have an electrical diagram but new Wanderlodge owners dont get one for 3/4 mil ,, so dont feel bad.
The Tin Can Tourists are a FMCA club and might have a source for somthing.
Good Luck

If you are talking about a GMC chassis, then you can look GMC Medium
duty truck books for start. At least
that is what I did with the Bluebird.
